Dear Addison

Dear Addison,

I wanted to write you a letter to tell you how special you are. You are growing up so fast and some days I just want to hold you so tight in my arms and make time stand still.

Today you are seven. I can't believe it. You are reading books and crushing on boys. You are so loving and the best big sister I've ever seen. I'm so lucky to be your mom.

My favorite things we do together is when we hold hands and shop and talk about life. I love hearing how much you love school, how much you care about your friends and how brave you are. When you broke your arm you had so much courage. I'm so proud of you.

Don't try to be a grown up too fast. Have fun being a kid. Play. Be silly. Take naps. Dance. Be kind. Before long you'll have more responsibility and experience and it won't be so easy to just have fun.

Thank you for always giving me hugs when I need them the most. Your cuddles are the best medicine for anything. Please remember to never stop hugging me ~ no matter how old you get.

I love you to the moon and back my sweet angel. You changed my life. In the best ways.

Mommy
